CineMilton Film Series to Premier on February 7th
The MHS is teaming up with the Premier Centre for the Arts at the Milton Theatre to present an exciting new documentary film series called, “CineMilton”! CineMilton will be offered monthly through April and feature timely documentaries related to local issues and one film with special significance for Milton.
Join us at 6:00 pm on February 7 at the Milton Theatre when shoreline advocacy will be featured in conjunction with The Surfrider Foundation. The Surfrider Foundation is dedicated to the protection of the ocean, its waves and beaches through a powerful activist network. The three documentaries to be screened will give insight into what the organization is trying to protect. “I Had Too Much To Dream Last Night” follows two surfers as they experience an Indonesian archipelago littered with islands and breaks with exemplary photography. “What the Sea Gives Me” is a a stunningly beautiful portrayal of the seemingly inexplicable relationship between ourselves and the sea. Tin Ojeda’s latest film “Expencive Porno Movie” was the most anticipated NY surf film project of the summer in 2014. It is about surfing and won two awards and was selected for three more. The night will be filled with a cash bar (wine and Dogfish Head Beer), DJ, food, merchandise, and information booths.
To purchase tickets in advance, go to the Premier Centre for the Arts website http://www.pcade.com/milton. Scroll down the page to the CineMilton logo. Tickets are $20 single admission or $50 for the series. The Milton Theatre is located at 110 Union Street in downtown Milton.
