Milton Historical Society: Night at the Museum

The Milton Historical Society is pleased to announce our Night at the Museum program.  On Friday, February 17, 2017 from 4-8:30 pm, the Society will be hosting a fun and educational event for children, families, and people of all ages.

 

The schedule of events for the evening is as follows:

  •          4-5 pm: presenter Mr. Ron Whittington from the Delaware Humanities Speakers Bureau will portray soldier William Owen of the 54th Massachusetts, the first black regiment to fight in the Civil War (appropriate for grades 4-12)
  •          5-5:30 pm: tours of the museum at 210 Union Street, Milton, DE
  •          5:30-6:30 pm: dinner at the Milton Theatre
  •          6:30-8:30 pm: showing of the Robin Williams film, “Night at the Museum”

The whole event will be a “pay what you can”/donations only event for attendees.
