The Four B’s Walking Tours

Milton, DE -The Milton Historical Society presents, “Boats, Buttons, Beans, and Beer” Walking Tour. Come learn why boats, buttons, beans, and beer are important to the town of Milton. Walking tour begins at the “Steampunk Tree” outside Dogfish Head Brewery and lasts approximately 45 mins.

Walking tours are scheduled for this Saturday May 27, as well as June 10, June 17, July 1, July 15, August 5, August 19, September 2 and September 9, weather permitting.  Tours begin at 9:30 am.  Please wear sturdy shoes, bring a hat, sunscreen and water.  Program is free to members, $5 (cash or check) for non-members. Space is limited.  Reservations are required, so please call (302) 684-1010 or email info@historicmilton.org to save a spot.

 

After your tour, visit the Milton Historical Society with its interesting collection of artifacts that help tell the history of Milton and the Broadkill Hundred.  Admission is free.  The museum is open Wednesday from 1:30-6:30 in June and July and Thursday through Saturday from 11 am to 4 pm year-round.
