Project Bid Solicitation – Water System Improvements : Atlantic Avenue, and portions of Chestnut Street and Atlantic Street

00 10 00 – ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID

Sealed bids will be received on behalf of The Town of Milton, (herein called the “Owner”) at Milton Town Hall, 115 Federal Street, Milton, Delaware no later than March 30, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. EST. Bids will then be publicly opened and read thereafter for the following:

WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS – ATLANTIC AVENUE AND PORTIONS OF CHESTNUT STREET AND ATLANTIC STREET

Contract No. 2021-001

Contract Duration 180 Consecutive Calendar Days

The work consists of furnishing and installing approximately 1,200 linear feet of 12-inch, 720 linear feet of 8-inch, and 2,600 linear feet of 10-inch diameter C900 PVC water main in Atlantic Street, Chestnut Street, and Atlantic Avenue respectively. The work is located within the roadway right of way of Atlantic Street, Chestnut Street, and Atlantic Avenue in the Town of Milton.

A link to the files will be provided.

Each BID must be accompanied by a BID BOND or Certified Check payable to the OWNER for ten (10) percent of the total amount of the BID.  No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.

The right is reserved, as the interests of the Town of Milton may appear, to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in bids received, and to accept or reject any items of any bid.

A mandatory virtual Pre-Bid Conference will be held on March 4, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Contact Brian Miller, PE at 302-351-5266, or via email at bmiller@pennoni.com, to be added to the meeting invitation to be distributed via email. The Town of Milton reserves the right to extend the time and place of Bid Opening on not less than two (2) calendar days notice by certified delivery, electronic delivery, or facsimile.
