Public Notice: Town of Milton Water Meter Replacement Project
Date Posted: Friday, May 30th, 2025The Town of Milton, Delaware, is set to begin a town wide water meter replacement project starting Monday, June 2. This essential upgrade will enhance accuracy in water usage tracking and improve service efficiency for residents and businesses.
Our project will be carried out by VEPO, the town’s designated contractor, and will take place systematically across all properties equipped with municipal water meters. Residents may notice VEPO personnel working in their area as part of this initiative.
What to Expect:
- Temporary water service interruptions may occur for short periods (approximately 10 minutes) while meters are being replaced.
- VEPO staff will be identifiable by official credentials; VEPO vehicles will be marked with the use of the Milton logo.
- No action is required from property owners unless otherwise notified.
- A door hanger will be left behind if you are not present the day of your meter replacement.
