Job Opening: Licensed Drinking Water Operator Town of Milton, DE

The Town of Milton is seeking a Licensed Drinking Water Operator to join our team and ensure the safe and efficient operation of our municipal water system. Responsibilities:

• Operate, maintain, and monitor the town’s water treatment and distribution systems.
• Conduct routine testing to ensure compliance with federal and state water quality regulations.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment and infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports.
• Respond to emergencies and troubleshoot system issues as needed.

Requirements:

• Current Delaware Drinking Water Operator License.
• Experience in water treatment operations, maintenance, and compliance reporting.
• Knowledge of EPA and state regulations related to public water systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to respond to emergency situations and be on-call as needed.
• Valid Drivers License and transportation.
