Milton – 2nd Safest City in Delaware

Date Posted: Tuesday, May 1st, 2018

I am extremely proud to announce that Milton has been named by SafeWise as the 2nd Safest City in Delaware. We were 8th in 2016, and 4th in 2017. (Stats are based upon the crimes from the previous year).

Our staff is committed to excellence and we are determined to be the Number 1 Safest City in Delaware.

I must say THANK YOU to my staff, our citizens, businesses, houses of worship, schools, town employees, town elected officials and allied agencies.

We believe we will accomplish this goal with the continued proactive partnerships we have established within our community.

Milton PD sends our congratulations to all those who made the Top 10.

Sincerely,

Robert J. Longo
Chief of Police
Milton Police Department
