Presents: The ARTful Touch, A Hand Painted Winter Wonderland Christmas Ornament Class

Instructor – Isabel Pizzolato

Wednesday, November 30, 2016  7 to 9 PM

Nothing says Merry Christmas like a handmade holiday gift sent to someone you love. In this class, learn how to paint a unique Christmas ornament that you can proudly display on your own tree, or offer to a loved one as a present from your heart. Come prepared to have fun, learn some new painting techniques and leave with a completed ornament and the new skills to be able to create them on your own at home.

A charge of $10 will provide each participant with the ornament, instruction and two brushes. Isabel will also provide the paints, palettes, glitter, and any other supplies the students will need. She will also bring additional ornaments, at $1.50 each, if the students wish to paint more than one.
Isabel ventured into watercolor after retiring to Delaware in 2007.  In New Jersey, she spent many hours learning tole painting and mastering stroke work, thinking she would like to teach this art form.  She still enjoys this form of painting and maintains her membership with the Delmarva Decorative Artists. Her first venture into watercolor was through the Rehoboth Art League. When introduced to watercolor she became “hooked” on the transparency of watercolor and is fascinated by the way the colors react to each other and flow over the surface of the paper. She has been accepted into several juried shows and won numerous awards and is committed to supporting the local art scene through volunteerism and by participating in local exhibits.
The Milton Arts Guild will be hosting the class on Wednesday November 30th at 7 PM at the Milton Arts Guild, 310 Walnut St., Milton, DE. The class runs approximately 2 hours and the MAG fee is $35 per student in advance or $40 at the door and an additional $10 fee for supplies is payable directly to Isabel.
