The Four Bs Walking Tours

Milton, DE –The Milton Historical Society presents the “Boats, Buttons, Beans, and Beer” Walking Tour. Come learn about Milton’s economy with a specific focus on why these four bs are important to the town. Walking tour begins at the “Steampunk Tree” outside of the Dogfish Head Brewery and lasts approximately 45 mins.

Walking tours for 2018 are scheduled for June 9, July 21, and September 15, weather permitting. Tours begin at 9:30 am at Dogfish Head Brewery, located at 6 Cannery Village Center. Free parking is available on the street. Please wear sturdy shoes, bring a hat, sunscreen and water. Program is free to historical society members, $5 (cash or check) for future members. Space is limited. Reservations are required, so please call (302) 684-1010 or email info@historicmilton.org to save a spot.

 

After your tour, visit the Milton Historical Society in downtown, with its interesting collection of artifacts that help tell the history of Milton and the Broadkill Hundred. The museum is located at 210 Union Street and parking is available in the museum’s lot behind the building. The museum is open Wednesdays from 11 am to 7 pm from Memorial Day to Labor Day and Thursday through Saturday from 11 am to 4 pm year-round.
