A Call for Artists

The Town of Milton Economic Development Committee is planning an art installation in Mill Park (home of the John Milton statue) starting April 15, 2023, and running through June 30, 2023.  The installation will include a series of twelve (12) 3’ x 6’ (vertical) murals celebrating the theme “greetings.” Four of the murals will be painted by students at the area schools.  We are seeking artists to paint the remaining eight murals. 2023 Municipal Election Results

TOWN OF MILTON 2023 ANNUAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION  The 2023 Annual Municipal Election candidate filing deadline was Tuesday, January 3, at 5:00 p.m. This year’s Election was open for two council seats. Two citizens declared their candidacy for the 2023 Election: incumbent Randi Meredith and Scotty Edler. Since the number of qualified candidates equals the number of seats open for the election, there will not be an Annual Election. In accordance with the Town Charter, Ms. Randi Meredith and Mr. Scotty Edler are deemed elected. Ms. Meredith and Mr. Edler will be sworn-in at the April 3, 2023 Town Council meeting, which will be held at the Milton Library beginning at 6:30 p.m.

LEGAL NOTICE The Milton Town Council, sitting as the Board of Appeals, will hear Property Value Appeals on Monday, January 23, 2023, at the Milton Library, 121 Union Street, Milton, DE 19968 at 6:30 p.m. Any taxable person or entity may submit a property value appeal by filing a completed Property Value Appeal Form at Town Hall no later than 5:00 p.m. on January 8, 2023.
