On Monday, October 8, Governor John Carney will kayak the Broadkill River in Milton with Quest Adventures and take a walking tour of Edward H. McCabe Preserve to promote a healthier Delaware. The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) maintains state parks and natural lands throughout Delaware which contributes to a healthy environment for visitors and residents. The McCabe Preserve is part of the Delaware Outdoor Trail, one of the many scenic outdoor attractions Delaware offers. Media may meet the Governor at the McCabe Preserve and join the group for the walking tour. Media attending must meet at the Preserve by 1 p.m.
