Art in the Attic: Revisited Exhibit Opens January 9
If the idea of time travel intrigues you, be sure to visit the Milton Historical Society Museum between January 9 and March 7, 2015. Discover the life and times of Milton’s past through works of art from the museum’s collection. Artists’ work reflects the world that surrounds them.
Collections of art reflect the life and tastes of the families that hang the work on their walls. The Milton Historical Society is fortunate to have an extensive collection of donated art that will transport you into the past and broaden your understanding of the history and culture of Milton.
A similar exhibit in 2014 was so successful that the MHS decided to present more never-before-displayed art works from its collection in “Art in the Attic: Revisited.” This exhibit opens on Friday, January 9th with a reception from 4:00 – 7:00 pm that is open to the public and includes free admission and refreshments.
