“Milton Collects” Stories Presentation on March 11 The Milton Historical Society’s new Speakers Series, “Milton Collects,”
aims at unearthing undiscovered collections in Milton as local residents
share what they collect. The second “Milton Collects” presentation will
take place Wednesday, March 11, 2015 from 7:00 – 8:00 pm at the MHS
Museum, 210 Union St. in Milton. Enjoy the stories collected by Michael
Chamberland, Milton resident and owner of The Edge Martial Arts Academy in Milton. Michael grew up in the town of Presque Isle way in the north of
Maine an area with a rich New England story-telling tradition. He
developed a gift for appreciating stories and books, and his mother
nourished his creativity to engage an audience with his tales. Tales
from the Far East as well as “down east” Maine will be presented.
