Project updates: Throughout the month of November, Artesian will be working on Tilney Street to complete wastewater infrastructure installation; a portion of Tilney Street will be closed to through traffic. Weather permitting, the Towns Chestnut Street rehabilitation project continues into the beginning of November; we ask that there be no parking on Chestnut Street, from Coulter Street to New Street. Water main work in the area of Mill Street and Walnut Street will also continue into November. Should water service be disrupted, a CodeRed call will be sent to the affected area. Milton hires its new Chief of Police

The Town of Milton is pleased to announce it has hired     Robert J. Longo as the Milton Chief of Police, following a lengthy but thorough application process.  Mr. Longo brings to the Town his experience in law enforcement, specifically including municipal policing and its elements of developing budgets and policies, writing grants, pro-active community  policing, and managing a police force.  He has received numerous awards, and commendations for his professionalism, leadership, and integrity.

Mr. Longo will be sworn in during the Town Council meeting on Monday, April 4th, beginning at 6:30 p.m.  Please feel free to join the Town in welcoming the new Chief of Police.  His first day with the Town is April 11th.
