Project updates: Throughout the month of December work will continue by Artesian on Tilney Street and Mulberry Street to complete wastewater infrastructure installation; a portion of Tilney Street will be closed to through traffic. The Towns project of water main work in the area of Mill Street and Walnut Street also continues into December. Street sweeping will take place 12/4 and the week of 12/15-12/18. 2023 ANNUAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION

 The 2023 Annual Municipal Election candidate filing deadline was Tuesday, January 3, at 5:00 p.m. This year’s Election was open for two council seats. Two citizens declared their candidacy for the 2023 Election: incumbent Randi Meredith and Scotty Edler.

Since the number of qualified candidates equals the number of seats open for the election, there will not be an Annual Election.

In accordance with the Town Charter, Ms. Randi Meredith and Mr. Scotty Edler are deemed elected.

Ms. Meredith and Mr. Edler will be sworn-in at the April 3, 2023 Town Council meeting, which will be held at the Milton Library beginning at 6:30 p.m.
