Sealed bids from invited bidders will be received on behalf of The Town of Milton, (herein called the “Owner”) at Milton Town Hall, 115 Federal Street, Milton, Delaware 19968 no later than July 30, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. EST. Bids will then be publicly opened and read thereafter for the following:

Pavement Rehabilitation

Contract No. 2025-003

Contract Duration 40 Consecutive Calendar Days

The work consists of pavement rehabilitation for portions of Chestnut Street for the roadway between Coulter Street and Atlantic Street and between Atlantic Street and New Street. Work shall include mill and overlay pavement, ADA ramp replacement, curb and sidewalk replacement, and utility adjustments.

The email request shall note the title of the project and provide the name, email, address, and phone number of the requesting party for plan holder records. A link to the file will be provided in a response.

Each BID must be accompanied by a BID BOND or Certified Check payable to the OWNER for ten (10) percent of the total amount of the BID.  No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.

The right is reserved, as the interests of the Town of Milton may appear, to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in bids received, and to accept or reject any items of any bid. The Town of Milton reserves the right to extend the time and place of bid opening on not less than two calendar days’ notice by electronic notice.
