Advertisement for Bids- General Construction- Milton Historical Society Parking Lot
Date Posted: Wednesday, February 4th, 2026Sealed Bids, in duplication, will be received by the Town of Milton at the Town Hall, 115 Federal Street, Milton, DE. 19968, until 10:00 a.m. local time February 27, 2026, for the general construction of the Milton Historical Society Parking Lot, Contract #4884A002.A01, at which time they will be opened publicly. Any bids received after said time will be returned unopened.
The base bid work includes, but is not limited to, select tree relocation, sidewalk installation and 19,500 SF asphalt pavement parking lot and associated improvements.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be obtained electronically via Dropbox from the office of Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc., 1 Park Avenue, Milford, Delaware 19963, 302-424-1441, upon payment of $25.00, non-refundable. Checks should be made payable to Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc.
The successful bidder must port a Performance Bond equal to 100% of the contract price upon execution of the contract. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening.
A MANDATORY PRE-BID meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. on February 17, 2026, at Town of Milton, Town Hall, 115 Federal Street, Milton, DE. 19968.
The Town reserves the right, as the interest of the Town of Milton may appear, to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality or irregularity in bids received, and to accept or reject any items of any bid. The Town of Milton reserves the right to extend the time and place of bid opening on not less than two calendar days’ notice by electronic notice.
