The Town of Milton, Delaware (herein called the “Owner”) will receive bids through vBID via www.QuestCDN.com no later than September 26, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. EST for the project titled

FEDERAL STREET WELL & WATER TREATMENT PLANT

Contract No. 2024-001

Contract Duration 210 Consecutive Calendar Days

The work consists of an electrical power feed extension, water treatment building construction, driveway improvements, and well pump installation. Effort includes raw water piping to the treatment building, water treatment building, water treatment equipment; chemical feed systems, finished water piping, electrical power and controls, and site improvements.

The PDF of specifications and project plans may be obtained through Quest Construction Data Network (www.QuestCDN.com) using Quest Number 9284081.

Interested parties may view the bidding documents at no cost before deciding to become a plan holder. To be considered a plan holder, register with www.QuestCDN.com and download the bidding documents for $22.00. An additional fee of $42 is required at the time of bid submission. Registered plan holders will receive automatic notice of addenda and bid updates. Each BID must be accompanied by a BID BOND or Certified Check payable to the OWNER for ten (10) percent of the total amount of the BID.  No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.

The right is reserved, as the interests of the Town of Milton may appear, to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in bids received, and to accept or reject any items of any bid.

A pre-bid conference will be held on September 9, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the Milton Town Hall, 115 Federal Street, Milton, Delaware; site visit to follow, to allow Contractors an opportunity to obtain information on the project from the Consulting Engineer and the Owner. The Town of Milton reserves the right to extend the time and place of bid opening on not less than two calendar days’ notice by electronic notice.
