Sealed bids will be received on behalf of The Town of Milton, (herein called the “Owner”) at Milton Town Hall, 115 Federal Street, Milton, Delaware no later than July 2, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. EST. Bids will then be publicly opened and read thereafter for the following:

 

Chandler Street Water Treatment Plant Improvements, Town of Milton Contract No. 2025-002

 Contract Duration 180 Consecutive Calendar Days

 

The work consists of furnishing and installing improvements to the Chandler Street Water Treatment Plant including piping, SCADA, motor controls, and electrical wiring, conduit, and equipment.

 

PDF files of Drawings and Specifications, including the proposal forms, may be obtained free of charge by contacting Brian Miller, PE via email, bmiller@pennoni.com .  The email request must note the title of the project and provide the name, email, address, and phone of the requesting party for plan holder records. A link to the files will be provided.

 

Each BID must be accompanied by a BID BOND or Certified Check payable to the OWNER for ten (10) percent of the total amount of the BID. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.

 

The right is reserved, as the interests of the Town of Milton may appear, to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in bids received, and to accept or reject any items of any bid.

 

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on June 12, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the Milton Town Hall, 115 Federal Street, Milton, Delaware; site visit to follow, to allow Contractors an opportunity to obtain information on the project from the Engineer and the Owner. The Town of Milton reserves the right to extend the time and place of bid opening on not less than two calendar days’ notice by electronic notice.
