Milton Main Street to Offer Grants to Local Small Businesses

Date Posted: Wednesday, February 11th, 2026

Grants made possible thanks to funding from The Granary at Draper Farm

With support from The Granary, a multi-phase mixed-use community currently under development, Milton Main Street is pleased to announce the availability of grants to local small businesses to take on a range of business-improving projects.

According to Milton Main Street board president Gloria Garcia, the grants, which will range from $500 to $2,000, “can be used to purchase equipment or furnishings, to take on façade or streetscape improvements, or to plan and/or implement marketing plans – anything, really, that will give their businesses a boost or will enhance the public’s experience.”

“The Granary is proud to partner with the Town of Milton and Milton Main Street to help encourage small business growth,” said Mariah Underhill, Vice President of Development for The Granary. “Milton’s success matters to us, and these grants are one way we can support the entrepreneurs who make the town such a vibrant and welcoming place to live, work, and visit.”

A total of $10,000 in grants will be awarded in 2026.

Any small business in downtown Milton is eligible.  These include businesses located within the town limits on Route 16; businesses on Mulberry St., Union St., Federal St., Chestnut St., and Lavinia St. While businesses can be a franchisee, they cannot have more than two outlets.
