Project updates: Throughout the month of December work will continue by Artesian on Tilney Street and Mulberry Street to complete wastewater infrastructure installation; a portion of Tilney Street will be closed to through traffic. The Towns project of water main work in the area of Mill Street and Walnut Street also continues into December. Street sweeping will take place 12/4 and the week of 12/15-12/18. Please avoid parking on the street to allow a clear path for the street sweeper. CodeRed is unavailable at this time. Updates will be posted on the town website. Established in accordance with Section 85-21 of the Town of Milton Municipal Code.

The Board of Appeals shall consist of three members, the Mayor of the Town and two elected members of the Town Council. The Town Solicitor is not a member and does not vote, but advises the Board. The Mayor appoints members of the Board. They are confirmed by a majority vote of the members of Council.

The current members of the Board of Appeals are as follows:

Councilman Scotty Edler
Councilman Fred Harvey

The powers and duties of the Board of Appeals are described in Sections 85-22 through 85-26 of the Town of Milton Municipal Code. Specifically, the Board will hear and decide appeals of any action of the Building Inspector or the application of the building code.

Meetings of the Board of Appeals are scheduled as needed upon the receipt of a notice of appeal. All appeals must be made in writing. Every appeal must reference the applicable provision and chapter within the Town of Milton Municipal Code. The procedure for appeals is detailed in Section 85-23 of the Code.
