The Towns project of water main work in the area of Mill Street and Walnut Street also continues into December. Street sweeping will take place 12/4 and the week of 12/15-12/18. The Town of Milton partners with Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC), Mosquito Control section for the spraying of mosquitoes.  To follow is the message received from DNREC-MOSQUITO CONTROL: ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ A message from DNREC-MOSQUITO CONTROL Weather permitting, the Delaware Mosquito Control Section is planning an insecticide application of Anvil 10+10 (sumithrin/PBO) within a zone or zones you have subscribed to within the Delaware Notification Service.  This application will occur during evening hours tonight with a truck mounted sprayer to control adult mosquitoes. All insecticides to be used are registered with the USEPA for mosquito control and will be applied according to USEPA approved label instructions. The USEPA has determined that the insecticides to be used do not pose unreasonable risks to human health, wildlife, or the environment.
